Im not sure if there are micro scratches to the bowl, but it was able to make it look new and Ive tried for over a year with various liquid cleaning products without much success. This took about 5 minutes to clean the whole bowl. Im very impressed it was so easy and 3 toilets and more than half a stick left.

Works wonders on porcelain and ceramic! Takes off all hard water and calcium build up.

These do work well on tough stains. But, they dont last as long as other brands Ive used. The larger rectangular block sized scrubbers last longer. But, you do get several of these in a pack. So, you can keep one in each bathroom rather than carry one room to room. Okay value for the price.

I had to clean a toilet with 30 years of mineral build up around the water jets. They did not scratch the porcelain bowl as long as they are wet before you use them. Used a separate one on a gas stovetop. Same as before. Cleaned as expected with no scratches

These are great for cleaning toilets out that have hard water rings. Being a longer shaped it is easier to hold on to. Works great for stove ranges as well. And surprisingly it doesn’t scratch the surface. I was skeptical at first. But it does a great job. If your getting a new stove. I would get these. To keep up. So someone doesn’t try removing baked on surfaces and scratching before you can get to it

Unfortunately a bit like nails on a chalkboard. But, makes cleaning hard water from the toilet bowl so quick it hardly matters.

With just a little effort I was able to erase the rust stains in my toilet. Looks way better in sparkles!
