As stated by others, they are not super bright, but create a nice ambiance; which is what I was looking for. The remote control works easily and surprised to find an extra battery in the box. I ordered 2. They arrived a day before original delivery date!

> 3 dayLets start with the good. These lights are pretty and emit a warm white glow when the battery pack is filled with brand new AA batteries. But the brightness only lasts a few hours before the lights dim into oblivion. I had these on for only 4 to 5 hours a day but less than a week later I had to replace the batteries! If there were a plug in option, it would be one thing. But there isnt. So unless you love switching out batteries - not exaggerating - every few days I would avoid these and find another option.

Greater than one weekIf youre looking for dimmer thab candle light lighting this is your thing. It wasnt what I was looking for so I gave it to the kid for his room. Itty bitty bulbs look much bigger in the photo and I wouldnt have bought this if I knew this in this first place.
