Our fridge is around 10 years old and until I encountered this product, I wasnt even aware that it was burning a 40 watt incandescent light bulb. This came as a surprise because we had made the switch to more efficient LED bulbs all throughout our home a long time ago and I didnt even think we had a single incandescent bulb in use. These bulbs are 5 watts each and thats a fraction of a 40 watt warm white bulb that also produces a lot of heat whenever the fridge door is opened. These are cool white in color and make it easier for me to see inside the fridge. Im glad to have made the switch to more practical and power saving LED bulbs.

The bulbs have a weird glow to them. I cant really describe it. We went out and bought different bulbs and returned these. It was just weird.

First of all when the lights did briefly come on they were not bright at all and kept blinking. One day later they were both out. Waste of money. I have no idea why there were so many great reviews on these bulbs?!?!

Most fridges come with a heat generating, yellow incandescent bulb that emit tons of heat into your fridge whenever it turns on, making your fridge run harder and more often. You might think the color is too blue when you install these but your eyes need to adjust to the warm incandescent bulbs that was probably previously installed. Warm light isnt bad per se but if you want your food to look right, you use a colder natural daylight color temp. The rated color temp is pretty close to daylight at 5500K and has a good CRI 80+ rating making colors pop. There is no heat emitted at all and I am happy with these in my fridge and freezer.
