Overall the box is good, but the hole used to mount accessories do not allow some other brands to be used. I had to use a 1/4 drill to add extra holes betweeen the existing ones to attach a some Legrand accessories. I did like the keyhole mount for the cover so I can just attach with the top two screws for quick access.

I was a Telecom technician for over 5 years, and I have been a controls electrician for the last 6. I work in controls panels, and used to work in smart panels all day. I was used to seeing Open House and Legrand smart panels for the most part, but when I went to buy my own, I bought Leviton without much research, because it’s what first to came up on Amazon for a plastic panel (I’m putting my wifi router in it) and I trusted them as an electrician. I finally got around to installing my own Structured Media Enclosure / Smart Panel in my own home, and I am very unimpressed. The Leviton hole spacing is COMPLETELY DIFFERENT from EVERY OTHER BRAND! That means all my Beldan, Open House and Legrand parts DO NOT FIT without modification. EVERY OTHER PANEL I have worked on had the same mounting hole spacing. If you buy this panel, you will be stuck using Leviton parts, which are easily DOUBLE the price of every other brand. I had purchased this panel so long ago it was too late to return it, so I ended up spending around $400 in extra accessories that I already had for literally any other brand of panel. Shame on Leviton for making their product proprietary. Avoid this product all together and look for literally any other brand.

    Greater than one week

I bought this to fit a bunch of equipment in my wall. I replaced an old small metal one. I had to cut my drywall longer to fit the size. I also bought the trim that can go around the edges. I put in a UPS, Modem/Router, punch down panel, a network switch and other misc. I couldn’t be more happier. There are vents in the side to let air in to keep your devices cool. Because it is made of hard plastic, it won’t conflict with WI-FI signals like a metal box will. I am very happy with mine and hope my photo might inspire some other projects.

This is sturdy with lots of air holes. Great for mounting behind a tv as long as your wall studs are 16 apart. The power outlet punch-out wasnt the correct size for the blue box that I had, so I had to modify this box, which wasnt too hard, with a utility knife.

This product is OK. But seriously, $21 per shelf bracket? At the first look I thought thats the price for 10-pack. I cant believe a piece of plastic cost $21. I know that piece of plastic can support 20 lb weight. But I dont need it to support 20 lb. I need a piece of plastic supporting less than 1lb tiny modem/router/switches. Whos going to put anything more than that in an enclosure of this size? There must be a sales term for this: selling the product at a reasonable price, but marking up the essential accessories.

Got this to replace an old 24 panel the builder had installed. Tons more space that allowed me to put the cable modem and router out of sight. Well ventilated too

while this was designed for structured wiring, Im going to use it slightly differently. it is sturdy and well suited to the purpose. I could not be happier.

Good quality plastic used in the construction of this. You can not only feel it when you touch it, but also by the way it looks. You can just tell its good.
