I got this when my husband was getting sick and the air is super dry where we live and he was starting to get nose bleeds. It has defintely helped him recuperate. I love the feature of being able to add in essential oils as well. However I wish there was a way to replace the pad, because once it’s saturated and has been used maybe twiece, it starts to smell funky and you can’t take the pad out to rinse out the old oil that was used. Overall, not a bad produt.

I love how easy it cleans and how many days I can go before needing more water. It should have come with a couple extra filters.

I read the reviews but prayed that mine wouldnt leak. It did. I ended up spraying flex spray (or something like that) all around the base of the water container. Of course it clouded up the bottom but it fixed the leaking. I only use it for my plants so I dont mind the container not being smooth. Its very quiet and I use distilled water, a bacteria liquid and have had no problems.

It works great, just not the smart feature. That being the main reason I bought it Im kinda disappointed. The sensor updates too slow shutting off by the time my grow tent gets to 20% higher RH than the target. Ended up causing mold on most of my plants. I fixed it being getting a smart dehumidifier but I would still recommend this for people who dont mind if the humidity is slightly off and would like the app control.

One gallon of distilled water kept humidity at around 60% for almost 3 full days. App is great and easy. Very quiet. Love that it has a night light so that’s cool. Will be purchasing another.

I like everything about this product - it works very well, is whisper quiet and easy to control. However, after we used it the first night, there was a white film over EVERYTHING in our large bedroom. Furniture, ceiling fan, recliner, you name it. And it felt a little bit sticky, perhaps from using the diffuser aroma oil that came with it. My wife was not at all happy about it. So in the Q&A, Levoit said if you have minerals in your water, you may get some white residue. Understatement of the year. This product is unusable with San Antonio tap water. Using distilled water would get very expensive. This was probably not a good purchase.

We travel full time in an RV and this humidifier was perfect for keeping the humidity levels up while traveling through the southwestern US where humidity outside was often in the teens. For most people, 40-45% is comfortable and this humidifier had no problems keeping our RV in that range (about 400 square feet of space). I love my smart gadgets and I really like that every aspect of this humidifier can be controlled remotely AND it can be paired with Alexa to create routines. Generally, we only run this at night while were sleeping and its super handy that I can have it automatically turn on in the evening and not have to worry about remembering to do it myself. So many smart products are limited in what youre able to do with them remotely, but you can control everything about this humidifier right from your phone or by simply telling Alexa what to do with it. The only downside to this humidifier is that it doesnt come with a filter to remove impurities in the water, which means it leaves a layer of white dust on everything. Its easy enough to wipe up, so its not a big deal for us. Also, just as a note, if you have a stove top with propane burners, the dust will cause the flames to burn bright orange. This isnt dangerous or harmful. Just be aware of it. As with every other humidifier Ive ever owned, the digital hygrometer is never accurate. I have always used several hygrometers in my home to monitor humidity levels and I rely on those instead of the one built into the humidifier. As a matter of fact, with this humidifier, I just turn off the display completely and adjust the output and humidity levels based on my other hygrometers. Again...not a big deal and Ive had to do this with every humidifier Ive ever owned.

Beware of where you put this and what level you put it on. I bought this because my air now that I have heat on in my house is very dry so I thought this will work wonders, I heard great reviews and it looked very nice quality. So I bought it and it came and very easy to hook up and figure out how to use it. The first time I ever used it I thought putting it on the floor next to my bed would work until I got a side table and I put it on the max setting thinking that would be best, yeah terrible idea do not do that. I woke up with half my mattress that was closest to the humidifier and the whole floor around it soaking wet and slippery. The max setting is to much at once it will just end up soaking your bed and surrounding area. I tried again on max setting with it elevated and off the floor nope same thing happened so now I keep it on auto and it works great. So it’s very finicky to work out which setting will work best for you but start off by going auto so you don’t have to mop up water the next morning. Besides this it’s been great and I have definitely felt a difference in my breathing. Before I’d wake up with a sore throat and stuffy nose/ extremely dry nose, mouth/lips and throat now I wake up able to breath and without a sore throat. This is a great investment for winter!
