Lexmark high yield 100XL Magenta ink cartridge

Heres the thing: the printer I used this in uses color ink when printing black or grey scale pages. Nothing you can do about it. These cartridges cost a lot, and last only about 50 pages, color, b&w, or whatever. Its really terrible. I unplugged the printer and only use it as a scanner now. Printer model was an S815 AIO. You may have heard about a trick to use the chip from an OEM cartridge on a knock-off cartridge, but the trick has a flaw: the firmware remembers the chips that have gone through the printer, and when you put the copycat cartridge into the printer with the chip from the OEM cartridge, it shows that cartridge as empty, and makes it very difficult to print anything.

i love original lexmark products this was great price! i only use original lexmarx and I never tried others due to reviews from others in internet.

Its ink. It worked. I had previous tried cheap ink from a place called Click Ink and the cartridges leaked and ran out of ink quickly. Go with the manufacturer in this case.

Ink was fine......Shipping costs were out of this world.

Ink cartridge lasts longer and the color is vibrant.

These seem to dry out quickly evne as the XL. I rarely print things and by the time they are a few months old they are needing to be replaced.

Purchased what was assumed to be OEM especially with box packaging shown. Arrived promptly, no box, but was in what really looked like an OEM Lexmark packaging on comparison to my empty cartridge at home. Opened packed and definately NOT labeled the same. Tried loading into my printer and NOT recognized by my printer on setup. Will be attempting to return this item!
