Perfect replacement for a Kenmore Elite dryer but its the exact same crappy plastic hinge design that broke in 4 years in the first place. Drop in fit and works though.

This was a replacement for an original which came w/the machine and it worked perfectly!

The filter on my LG dryer broke in the hinge area - probably the weakest area of those filters. I was apprehensive about ordering this replacement filter. But, happily it was an excellent purchase. It fits perfectly in my LG model DLEX8000 and is identical to the original filter.
