My product didnt come with the adapter cable, so unless they send me one of those, I suppose it doesnt work. Being that its a proprietary connection for the addressable rgb. Maybe sell the controllee seperately then or start making sure you double check all the packages before sending. At the very least manual with a wiring diagram so I can put a 3 pin plug or something that makes sense on it without spending time reverse engineering.

Theres not much to say about the product. If youre even looking at this, chances are you know what kind of person you are. You like pretty lights and things that have pretty lights. And if youre like me and really like pretty lights, then you want everything to have them. A couple people mentioned it came with the connections on backwards, but the product comes with instructions on how to flip it. Mine was set up fine out of the box. Works with the Founders Edition 30 series cards, though for some of the other variants of the 30 series, you may need the triple 8 pin version that Lian Li put out. Keep in mind if your motherboard is like mine, you will need to connect it to the controller (which comes with the 24 pin motherboard strimer) and hold the M1 button for a few seconds to let your motherboard sync with it. All in all, Im a big fan.

If you want the controller youll have to buy the 24 pin MOB Cable as well. I bought both just figured Id throw it out there in case someone was wondering. Although Im happy with them. Good quality cables. Not easy to train though.

This GPU power connector adds the LED RGB flair to your computer build, is it frivolous? Yup! but when you want to light up your build like NYC Times Square, this is the ticket. The wiring is stiff, so it works best with straight connections, no twisting. To make your install easier, make sure you get the Lian-Li RGB HUB. This makes the install much easier. This video add on cable did not come with this, so I needed to make an extra purchase, so knocked off a star. Also confirm your MOBO has a free RGB connection. Install will take three connections to the Lian-Li HUB; one free SATA power, Strimmer to HUB, and finally Strimmer to RGB MOBO. There are a number of configurations of lighting modes available. My final build is connected to a 3070ti GPU with a MSI X470 Gaming MOBO. The Griswalds will be jealous! Happy with my purchase

Pros: very bright, material doesn’t seem cheap, has a good amount of rgb choices, they also look nice turned off, easy to connect. Cons: they aren’t too flexible, annoying to flip the rgb cables if you need to run the cables a different way, since it’s just a adapter it makes cable management much worse, the very worst part is the control has to be inside the pc so it’s a hassle to change the settings

30 series cards have 3 pcie on them so this won’t work with my 3080 if I want to have all the slots filled.

Only down side is having to open the case to change the colors, speed, or pattern you want.
