This mirror is the perfect size for my desk. It needs to plug into the wall. I use the magnifying mirror as a handheld mirror, so I cant speak well to the suction power of the magnifying mirror. I like the three lighting settings (warm, neutral, and cool) that you can toggle with the M button. The touch screen is responsive. Overall, Im a big fan and I would recommend it!!
