Having had pets including birds for 50+ years, I have seen a lot of products. I am about to move my parakeets and cockatiels into one large cage. I decided on these perches though they are not very long. But wth the two different diameters, they would be good exercise for cockatiels and parakeets. Plus I decided that with the shorter length, I could have them mounted around the exterior, leaving the center open for more flight.

Received them and put one of each kind on my birdies cage. I thought it would take some time before they approached the new perches, but,no, they jumped right on them and started chewing. They seem to prefer the bumpy ones. Thought they were a good price for 4. Some I looked at in the pet stores were $ 9.00 - $16.00 for 1 depending on length. Would buy again, but these will last.

I ordered these natural perches for my rats, in the description it says no chemically smells, etc. they smelled kind of off, and were coated in something. two days after i put this in, my rat started having seizures and passed away less then 12 hours later. they also didnt all come with the metal pieces so they are secure on the cage. I am absolutely heartbroken.

Easy to attach to the cage! My birds love them, they’re sturdy and would definitely buy again.

These are a really good variety for the price. The varying thickness and textures are what your birds need and these do the job nicely. The size of the perch id recommend for birds like budgies,cockatiels and conures maybe a little larger too.

Those are for parakeets not parrots

I’m unsure about these. They look nice and clean. One of them has black spots that looks like mildew. They all smell weird. I’m not sure id that’s how the tree is supposed to smell or what. One of them is rusted. I’m going to wait and see if the smell goes away and see if I can scrub the black stuff off.
