Finished this chunky Icelandic blanket. In no time! Love the feel of this even though it is acrylic. I usually only work with natural fibers, but read about this being used without the acrylic feel! Love it.

My fave yarn to order for a chunky blanket. Easy to work with, soft, washes well.

Very fluffy yarn! I love the texture, and the color, it is a true black. Probably will buy again to make more sweaters.

Note: The label is a bit misleading. I purchased this thinking it was the bonus bundle of Wool-Ease thick and quick, which contains 20% wool. Its not. This one is 100% acrylic. I find this yarn to be pretty easy to work with, and the price is excellent for this much super bulky yardage. But, I strongly prefer the Wool-Ease thick and quick. Even a small amount of wool makes a difference for me. The colors arent as interesting as the Wool-Ease either. I like heathered tones best, and the plain Thick & Quick has flat solids.

I absolutely love this yarn. Ive been using thick and quick with wool for years but this is a real game changer. It works wonderfully with good cushion and bounce. It is extremely soft and cuddly. My new favorite.
