Having done my homework, I use hot tap water to heat this up, before pouring hot syrup into it, to get a more accurate reading.

Met expectations for first time maple syrup use. Quality appears it will last for a long time

This test cap is a great addition to our supplies for making Maple syrup. I really like the position of the handle. The base is very heavy and will NOT be bumped over. Thanks for the quality equipment.

This is a very sturdy testing cup... I was impressed with the quality of the product!

Works great could be 2 inches taller

On the sticky label it says Made in China and on the actual product its stamped on the base Miller mfg which is in the USA. This is very sturdy and I have a feeling it will last a life time.

Sorry for the bad photos but I think you can see the rust spots, will be using a plastic one and this one will become a paper weight
