Lixit Chinchilla Dust (27oz)

I noticed a huge difference in the look and feel of my chinchilla when switching over to this dust!

This an excellent cleanser for my chinchillas but I received the smallest jar when I ordered the largest.

Do not purchase this dust. The packaging is deceptive, as it looks like the Blue Cloud dust label — which is no longer made. It’s caused respiratory distress for both myself and my chinchilla. She developed eye irritation and started sneezing almost immediately. This turned into a sinus infection. Thankfully she’s much better now. The dust gets everywhere - it’s shiny, so you see it glistening - it’s given me terrible hives.

My chinchilla always feels so soft after using Lixits Blue Cloud Dust. I dont know if my chinchilla noticed the difference when I switched brands because he likes to roll in the dust regardless of brand but I have noticed a difference. Other brands felt gritty and left a residue on his fur but He always feels soft to the touch after using the Blue Cloud Dust. Ive been using this brand for about six months and I will stick with it for the foreseeable future. I put a little bit less dust in my chinchillas bath house then the container recommends but I feel like I am throwing less dust away when I clean it out because he has pooped in there.

Excellent dust for chins. The only one we use. They take baths and end up with no clumps in their fur or excess dust that they ingest . Been using only this for years one scoop per bath is good for 4 chins

I tried other bathing dust and found it had other stuff in it that made me degus sneeze and cough. This is lava dust.

Love this!! And so do my Chins!!
