Best way of applying it yet. We shall see how it does over time. So far so good.....

Good idea, but dollar for dollar it doesnt cover nearly as many bolts. One stick covered a few threads each on 32 1/4 bolts. Do the math compared to the liquid and it is a high premium for the convenience. If you only have a few bolts here and there, ior just cant deal with the mess you get from the liquid, it may be worth it.

While it is definitely less messy, the stick version of blue locktite just doesnt hold up as well against vibration as blue liquid locktite. So it back to liquid version for me

Works great on small fasteners, no excess on the threads like the liquid version.

Unlike the tube it doesnt dry up so it is always ready to use must have item Blue Loctite locks but can be removed

The Loctite 248 Blue gel tube is a great alternative to the liquid in the tube. The gel doesnt flow, and is spill proof.

I am working on a project over time, and got this for... thread locking... it works, but the top dries out much faster than a glue-stick... not an issue if you expect it. I like that it isnt as runny as a bottle of the blue... but I dont think it will last nearly as long. 4 days after (and, yes, the cap was on) there was a chunk of skin on the top of the stick from the limited air exposure... but the ease of use (no drips!) makes it worth it, I think. If you are doing a lot of screws at once, or if you hate drips as much as I do, its probably for you.

Why didnt they have this 10 - 20 years ago? Its easier to apply than liquid, less mess! Holds just as strong as any other blue threadlocker.
