> 3 dayI am a big fan of Loctite blue. I like the large bottle and it was a good price. I would buy this item again.

> 3 dayLoctite 242 was the only thing that was able to seal the threads on my air compressor (up to 125 psi). I tried Blue Monster teflon tape and Blue Monster pipe compound, but both leaked right away when put under pressure. Then 242 came to the rescue and sealed it up tight, no more leaks. Love this stuff.

> 3 dayI do all sorts of electrical repairs and love to use Loctite on screws as well as pipe thread. Works well. Do note that there are different types, some are impossible to break the seal and other seals are more pliable and you can break the seal if needed for a future repair. Consider your project and purchase accordingly, I do many repairs for customers on vintage lamps, so have the full selection, most can get away with just one version. This version is medium strength and I consider user friendly. Medium strength is user friendly, holds for now but if you need to break a seal for future replacement you can... hence user friendly.

> 3 dayIt’s a semi specialty adhesive… it works “ok”… but since Teflon tape is too large for some jobs, they bend you over on the price for this… used it on a 1/8” screw… didn’t hold very well… GO FOR THE RED VERSION… save where you can… cause that’s an even bigger $$$ hole, but it does work well…
