The Bottom is quite wide but not the mouth of the container which barley fits 2 brush was looking for something bigger but this one will work.

I was concerned about the size, but this is really a large sealable brush washer. See photos to compare this washer (left) with my older small washer (right). Great price for the size! Seals tightly. Very happy with purchase

Bought this as a gift for my mom who paints. She loved it.

I love the clasps for a great seal, stainless is durable. I was hoping for a larger size for my paint brushes (2 - 2 1/2) but great for artist brushes and smaller ones.
