> 3 dayI wanted an easier way to switch my new monitor lights (two thin lights mounted over my two computer monitors) on and off. The lights have touch buttons but I preferred something that was easier to reach and switched both lights on and off. The LoraTap works perfectly. I plugged it into an outlet on my UPS, plugged the two lights in with a USB adapter (the lights are USB powered) and put the switch on my desk. It works perfectly. The transceiver was paired out of the box but the included User Manual includes pairing instructions in case it is ever necessary. It uses a common CR2032 watch (flat) battery which came pre-installed. A mounting plate is included with peel and stick adhesive strips (LIKE Command Strips) to enable mounting the switch on a surface. About the only thing I can think of that might make it better would be some sort of luminescent cover to make it easier to find in dimly lit/dark rooms. I would highly recommend it. In fact I did. My son just installed his. I would buy another one if I had a requirement for a wireless remote switch.

> 3 dayThis is a great little device. It works great, is easy to use, requires no setup (assuming that you arent trying to pair the remote to multiple outlets...I havent tried that yet, so I dont know if it pairs easily or not), and looks very sleek. This is actually my second one because I managed to drop the first remote and it no longer works. I tried to pair it, thinking that maybe the bump did something to the pairing, but that didnt fix the problem. So my only criticism is that the remote might not be all that super sturdy if a simple drop from 3 feet off the ground could kill it. But otherwise its great!

> 3 dayI have 2 lamps in my bedroom both controlled by a switch by the doorway. The lamps are plugged into the upper socket on the wall outlet which is controlled by the switch. A small lamp is on the nightstand beside the bed. The other is a tall floor lamp on the other side of the bed. Im handicapped. Hard to get around. I can turn off the small lamp by hand. Easily within reach. The floor lamp was always a problem for me, but no longer! Now I control it with this remote switch. Works great. Problem solved.

> 3 dayPerfect solution for my lamps I love this!! I got this for my nursery lamp because the lamp was behind the rocking chair and I got sick of semi crawling over the chair to turn the lamp on and off. Not only that it was one that you have to cycle through as it turns on more light bulbs just to turn it off. Very annoying when its 4am and you are dog tired and keep getting blasted in the face by light. This thing is perfect though just plug it in and plug the cord into it, turn it on and its ready to go. I keep the controller right by my chair by the door where I can easily reach it, no more crawling over things to turn the lamp on and its always on the lowest light setting. Definitely would get this again!

> 3 dayExcellent. 10 out of 10 would buy again. Very plug and play, works like a charm for an overhead shop light that I installed on the ceiling in an awkward space that just happened to have an outlet on the ceiling. Instead of trying to wire in a new ceiling light just hung a shop light and plugged it into this bad boy.

> 3 dayI use string lights in my office in place of the awful fluorescent lights. They plug in to the outlet behind my desk, and it’s tricky to get to. Since I began using this remote control outlet, I no longer have to get to the outlet to plug in and u plug my lights every day. The remote has a magnet on the back, which I keep on the whiteboard next to my office door. I walk in my door and use the remote to turn on the lights immediately. It has been very helpful.

> 3 dayGetting excited over some stupid little switch may seem simple minded, but with the massive amount of product out there to choose from, every so often you get lucky. This easy to install switch is incredibly cool. I use several of them in the house for lamps that have those little (hard to get to) switches built into the electric cord. Now so easy, simply on or off in an easy location. The word handy best describes this little guy.

> 3 dayI started using this type of product to control my holiday lights. Then began thinking about the ease and control of lights when walking into other rooms throughout the house, so purchased this to try. Love the convenience! The hardest thing about using this was...where to put the remote!!

> 3 dayI got one of these for my son, so he could turn his light on and off, from his bed. The remote also comes with a little magnetic plate you can mount anywhere you want, that the remote will stick to, when you just want to use it where you might want the normal switch to be. It has been working great, so I bought another one, for my bedroom.
