However, sometimes my kitchen table or kitchen bar are still not the eyesight level for a comfortable viewing experience. Hence, I recently got the LOXP laptop extendable stand and have been happy with its features and performance. The anti-tipping weighted base is a great addition, providing a stable foundation for my laptop and preventing it from toppling over. The materials are sturdy although the hinges look plastics and I hope they will last a while and many adjustments. I question the judgement of using plastic though at this price point.

After getting the stand to an appropriate height, I was able to place the laptop on the stand at a perfect height. The rubber grips help keep the laptop in place. Overall, this is a lifesaver in working on a laptop on a counter or desk.
