These are the first set of specialized tools Ive used for planted aquarium, so Im comparing them to the usual things around the house that Ive been using (scissors, spatulas, etc). Overall, the feel are so much better than not having specialized tools, and better control. I suppose the professional grade tools would be much better (at higher price) but these suit me just as well. So far they held up well, hasnt broken or rusted. I do wipe them down briefly before storing them, so I assume if youre not careful and store them wet they will eventually get rusty (same with any other metal tools). My favorite so far are the tweezers, theyre just the right size and length and help to burrow the dwarf hairgrass well into the gravel, much easier than short standard tweezers which is too small. Curved scissors are nice too to trim the leaves from the stem way down there in the gravel.

These came quickly and I couldn’t wait to use them. They seem to be very good quality and worked perfectly for my tank. I have a smaller 5 gallon tank and didn’t have to get my hands wet!

I was worried about they could get rusted like some other brands that always claim stainless steel. After several uses without wiping the water off, none has got rusted. The tools seem well made and quite useful for removing things without getting wet.

Really good pricing compared to the store and also good quality, highly recommended Update: after a couple of months using it, this does start to show signs of rust on the ends. The only way to stop this from happening is to make sure you wipe them clean and make sure they are dry. But still not too bad for the price. Would like to have the rubber coating on the ends maybe that would help with it not rusting.
