This controls the Caretra switches / controls. Does nothing by itself. Having worked as an electrician, the switches were easy to install (just like installing a switch or dimmer). They are great for adding a 3-way(with Pico) or controlling wirelessly (pico or phone app) I have over 20 of them in my house

Works great. The only way to turn on the light to preset dimmer level. Regular Caseta wall switch really wont do that (???). Pricey for a small remote.

Saw this and the companion Caseta switch on Ask This Old House, and decided it would solve a problem I had with a remote light switch in my foyer. Now I can just flick the Pico remote to turn it on and off, and dim. I installed the matching App on my iPhone, and set the light to turn on at dusk, and off about bedtime. Have not tried it with Alexa.

Great remote! Its very easy to add this dimmer switch to any of your Caseta wireless controlled lights. The center button is a favorite setting which you can set to instantly turn the lights to your preferred setting. If you have a light that is controlled by two switches you will need one of these remotes to replace the second switch. IE: one switch will be a Caseta hard-wired switch and the second one will be one of these remotes (if you are replacing a wall switch with a remote dont forget to buy the Caseta wall plate to seamlessly complete your install.) Or if you just want to add, say a switch up stairs to control lights down stairs, Caseta will let you add as many switches to control one set of lights as you want. Caseta wireless is hands down a superior home automation product. They are an early adopter to home automation and have been making major developments in this field for years. Caseta Wireless is constantly improving their home automation platform, sending out updates and adding new products to their list of controllable devices. You will not be disappointing when you buy this system.

So fantastic when you want to have a switch but you dont have, or cant have wiring. This is a far better than a three way because its less wiring, and most important, you can control the dimmer from both ends. If I have any gripe, and its minor, its the aesthetic of this switch. I dont love it and the buttons are a definitely a tad crowded on the switch face. I use the new Diva Smart dimmer as my main switch with which it pairs and I wish the Pico looked like a normal switch just as the Diva itself does. I wouldnt be surprised if it happens in a future release and when it does, Ill replace it. With all that said, the Pico is a godsend. It has allowed us to place switches where we have no wiring and that is a massive bonus. The value is excellent!

This device will control one or more Lutron Caseta switches. In the picture above, the first three switches starting at the left are various forms of luton switches The item on the right is one of these remotes. It is used to provide a third control point for the Living room light without having to add more wiring. I have another unit mounted in my hallway. When I am walking toward my bedroom and notice the yard lights are still on, I can press the button and all six yard lights turn off. The price is cheap for the added convenience of controls where you need then when compared with the $250 electricians want for adding a regular switch.

Purchased extras so I can control lights from multiple location. Excellent product by Lutron. I have been an Electrical Contractor for 30 years and specified and use Lutron products for reliability. The Caseta wireless system of wall installed and plug in receivers work with and without WI-FI. That was a big consideration, that we don’t always have Wi-Fi siginal. The one thing I would like that I don’t believe is available from Lutron is to use one Caseta programmed with multiple codes to control different loads, like floor lamp, table lamps, track lighting or stereo. Good product, but my remotes would not pair to main switch. The pairing process in the instructions would not work no matter what. I had to scour the internet to find one obscure post on how to factory reset the switch. It clears and preparing in the switch. I then was able to pair both remotes via the instructions. Maybe Im a fluke, but it was an extraordinary pain to figure out.
