> 3 dayOverall, these shorts are nice. Depending on how thick your thighs are, they may appear to flare a bit at the legs, but they are very comfortable and have a nice stretch overall. I am typically a size 12 or 14, and the XL fit well. However, I gave the shorts four stars instead of five because one of the buttons (the very middle of the five in the style I got) was not attached well enough when they were made so it looks like it is held on by only a thread. This is relatively easy to fix myself (which is why it was only minus one star), but it is concerning in the meantime that the button would fall off when wearing. Overall, though, the shorts are comfortable and have not had other issues since I got them. Hopefully the button is the only issue.

Greater than one weekALOT of stretch so buy a size down. Hoped mine would shrink some in the wash...no luck. Too much stretch for my taste. I prefer a little stretch but not this much. Update: after only wearing twice one of the buttons popped off completely! Not happy!
