I own and have tried a ton of mechanical gaming keyboards. I have the Ducky Frozen Llama 60% used strictly for gaming and I bought this one to use at my work desk because I needed the number pad for editing purposes. This keyboard is has exceeded my expectations! It’s HEAVY and SOLID and I’m surprised it hasn’t gotten reviews! I loved the fact that I was able to put a cover over it to make it white (the base color is pink and it looks just as nice without the cover). It did have the black logo on the white cover which I sanded off to make it look a little cleaner. I changed some of the keycaps with a pudding Mint set I purchased from Amazon and some rubber Tai Hao caps I had extras of. However, regarding the keycaps that it comes with....the pink ones are a REALLY nice shade of pink (as shown in the picture). I do wish that the pink keycaps were more simple and didn’t have the weird images or extra words above the characters (the white ones are a little more simple than the pink). But for the price, I definitely cannot complain! The lighting functions are super easy to figure out using the onboard memory key binds (much easier than the Ducky). It’s exactly as shown in their product video. I didn’t want a colorful LED and this keyboard has white lights only..and they shine through the pudding caps beautifully. Just like my Ducky, the lights will stay on if it’s plugged in so I set both my Ducky and this keyboard to reactive mode so that it only lights up when a key is pressed (that way I don’t have to unplug it and it won’t stay on forever). Also, there’s a center light that looks a little more yellow than the rest of the lights on the keyboard, but I can’t tell with the mode I have it set to. The switches aren’t too clicky and it feels semi tactile, which I love. Even though it doesn’t have a braided cord, I like how you can snake it around underneath to keep it from pulling out. I am extremely happy with this purchase! I added a photo of the keyboard with my customizations next to the Razer Quartz Basilisk mouse so you can see the difference in the shade of pink. I actually like the pink of the keyboard better than the mouse. If you’re looking for an inexpensive mechanical keyboard for all purposes..BUY THIS!

The lights on the first one that arrived would blink off at random intervals, during which the keys would stop typing. I requested a replacement. The second one arrived only to have the entire top row completely inactive right out of the box. I went back to the first one, thinking I might be able to live with the problem, but after a couple weeks the keys began producing completely random letters making it entirely useless. Needless to say I returned the product for a refund. If it had worked properly, I would have liked to keep it. It looked nice and was easy to type on. Too bad the shoddy quality of the electronics ruined it.

I use this keyboard for several hours a day as my main work keyboard. It is obnoxiously loud (which is a huge draw for me as someone who loves a clicky keyboard but would be horrible in a shared office setting). It has held up really well compared to what I expected for the price. If you a clicky keyboard person and want something really cheap but durable this is for you!

PROS: Love love the sturdiness and heaviness of keyboard. Extra baseframe and key caps a super plus! I choose mechanical for the loud clickity sounds and it does not dissapoint tho my husband will hate me for it. Who cares! Lol CONS: On the pink keyboard there are cute icons on the top F Row caps, the windows cap, the up/down caps and lastly the insert/delete caps etc... THEY ARE NOT ON THE WHITE CAPS! Aesthetically DISSAPOINTING and thus why I said MISLEADING because their main pic advertised them on there. & Also cause I dont know what those buttons mean, icons help! =( Lastly, the white base frame has one flap that does not click in to hold it down. This seems to be a manufacturing issue, prob during molding of frame gone wrong because pink one clicks in fine.

    Greater than one week

Fantastic setup and love the way it looks, only downside is it is quite loud when you click the keys. So may not be ideal for streaming or gaming with others as it could easily get annoying, but overall great keyboard!

Beware... Was working fine for a few weeks. Then, as I would be, say, writing an email, a button press of a letter would start doing things like open new windows and other crazy behavior. I would try things like reboot and switch to another keyboard. The other keyboard would work fine so Id plug the magegee back in and start working again. It would almost immediately start to exhibit the funky behavior again. So, Im done with it. Im one day past the return deadline so I guess I lost my money on this one. One other thing I did not like about this keyboard... It was very difficult to read the symbols above the letters. The contrast was insufficient so I had to really squint to see the symbol I was looking for.

It’s a nice product but I don’t like how loud it is. There is also a mechanical, spring-like echo that follows the loud clicks

I am not a gamer, but needed a light up keyboard (I work in a dark office, and with glare from multiple screens I couldn’t see the keys) This keyboard is fun, but does make a louder “clickey-clackey” sound than I personally care for. Otherwise the colors are fun, and everyone notices it.

I love this keyboard. It’s cute and you can the color of the key caps and even the keyboard itself. You can change it into a white or pink keyboard. Comes with free extra keys in white. Would definitely recommend. I wish i bought the red switches though as the blue ones make a lot of noise when I type.
