> 3 dayWhat can I say, its a Maglite! We purchased 3 led flashlights from other manufactures with 3 or 4 led technology (thinking more must be better) and they all cost significantly less than the Maglite. We walk a lot an night on our country roads and we wanted to make sure we could see and be seen. They were all so dim, we replaced the batteries, thinking that had to be the problem. We finally broke down and bought the first Maglite. The Maglite is brighter and easier to use than any of the others. This is yet another example of why trying to save money by buying a cheaper product can cost you more in the long run. Remember, it doesnt necessarily matter how many leds are in the flashlight, different leds do not project the same amount of light. The Maglite is a 3 watt winner! We bought 4 so we have one in easy reach almost anywhere in the house. We just ordered 4 led mini Maglites to go in our cars and for our kids to put in their cars.

> 3 dayThis is a really nice flashlight. Still suffers from black hole syndrome when on flood. I can light up the side of a house more than a block away. It rates something like just over 100 lumen so anyone advertising this ridiculous 1000+ lumen output is lying or using some bogus measurement like TV makers do for contrast ratio.

16-04-2025This is my go to outside light. For the money, this is the best option. I have a few and will always keep a few. I have several surefires that have a specific purpose but for a stationary light in the house or for use in nocturnal chores, this is my best choice

> 3 dayIve had numerous LED flashlights that dont always go ON when switched ON. Usually, tapping them in the palm of my hand jump starts them. They seem to fade out, quickly, too. For the above reasons, I thought Id try a more expensive (premium ?) LED flashlight. At first, it did the above, which was disappointing; but, it seems to switch ON more reliably after a bit of use. Go figure? This is one big, honkin flashlight ... and it projects a good distance, as expected. I suppose its worth having one good LED flashlight around?
