Mario Kart at its finest. The graphics are so beautiful, you sometimes get distracted from the race to admire the glorious backdrops and lighting effects. But we all know games arent about fancy graphics, its about the gameplay and the experience. And Mario Kart 8 delivers on both. Its a Mario Kart game so dont expect anything revolutionary different. The Anti-Gravity segments are nice and some of the new power ups are cool, but it keeps the core, solid mechanics of previous games, and ups the speed a little. You recover from crashes quicker, you get picked off up the edge faster, and it feels just quicker in general. There is plenty to unlock and with DLC, there is so much content. A truly brilliant game and a must have for any Wii-U owner. In fact, buy a Wii-U for this game if you dont have one. Do it.

Love the Mario series! The game is possibly the best induction to the mario Kart series, keeping the gliding and underwater mechanics from 7, the bikes from Wii and introducing an antigravity mechanic. Its a must buy!

bought from another place, this is amazing game, its my first Mario kart, and i loved it, from the graphic , crisp and with brilliant colors , from the amazing game-play both offline and especially online the heart of the game, i loved the tracks and the music everything is perfect, even the battle mode for me it is OK, but i heard this mode was better in the predecessor , for me its 5 stars, and i recommend it to everyone love gaming

Bought for my 10 year old son. This was a gift for working hard and getting an exceptionally good school report. When I gave it to him he said Thankyouthankyouthankyouthankyouthankyou to me and that he will make me a cup of tea any time I ask.......unless hes playing this game! So Ill get a cup of tea once in a blue moon!!! lol.
