I replaced the flimsy padlock I had on my cedar shed with this lock and I’m super happy with it. People complain here that it doesn’t include hardware but you never know how long the bolts should be depending on application so just go to Home Depot and find the correct bolts add nuts. It was easy and just costed a few dollars. This lock is absolutely bombproof it was easy to install and somebody would need a chainsaw to get into my shed because there’s no way they can get through this lock. Definitely recommended.

If you can make it work based on your mounting surface, I believe that it may be one of the best locks you can buy for the price.

Soft steel. I overtightened the stainless steel carriage bolts and stripped the square cut outs turning them into circles. So my carriage bolts are loose and now I have rust streaks from the master lock rusting

Great item. Doesnt come with bolts or nuts though, so thats a minus. After purchasing the extra needed nuts and bolts, it was easy to install. Very secure.

Tough to install, but works how you want it to.
