Used the backpack to travel abroad with and it held up well at the airports and hiking, i over stuffed it and used all the components and had no issues, ill give it a solid 4.5 out of 5 stars

This backpack is now my go to for airplane and car trips. It can be put in overhead bins for airtravel so you dont have to check it in. It has lots of compartments to organize my clothes, computer, books, etc. So far it has held up and seems like a quality product. The only downside is that is does get heavy if you carry it for very long when it is crammed full.

the bag has a lot of pockets, so you can carry a lot of things in every compartment. Careful though, not to carry to much weight as the buckles are somewaht weak. Had to purchase another one as was carrying too much weight and the buckle simply broke.

CONs: No rigidity at all, it feels like light fabric. PROs: Well-designed and superior built; the shoe compartment helps a lot. Tons of space; fits well under sit in front. I bought it some 7 months ago and have taken it on 2 long trips, one in the US and one to Europe. On the last trip (14 days) this thing was loaded with 16Kg/35lb of all kinds of stuff including many electronics. Most items were packaged into packing cubes which expedited accessibility to security checking staff in 5 airports. Otherwise, theres too much for X-Ray machines to discern whats inside. Despite feeling lightweight, this backpack performed admirably; not a single stitch popped and the zippers performed without issues. Talking about the zippers you may want to have small carabiners or tiny padlocks to prevent their opening; they tend to open spontaneously. I packed Water Sports Shoes in the shoe compartment and was able to use them during tans-Atlantic flights with the corresponding comfort advantage. Im very happy with the purchase and wholeheartedly recommend it as a carry-on substitute. Its light material allows it to squeeze under the front seat as long as its not packed to the max and under pressure. I did not receive any observations or warnings from airline staff about its size despite its capacity (and weight).

To be fair, all I wanted was a backpack to take with me to work. To carry my laptop, lunch, umbrella, and a couple of books. It does all that perfectly well, but that isnt asking a lot right? So then I started taking it on flights; meets TSA requirements. I love the shoe compartment. I havent tried the USB port (that would connect to your own charged battery pack that you leave in the backpack) but its a clever idea. The padding on the straps is plush. Super comfortable. At this price, I expected the zipper to be garbage and stitches to pop out thru light use, but nope. Ive been using this backpack every day for 4 months and its still perfect. So much room inside the main compartment. Even the secondary compartment for the laptop is ample AND padded. Great purchase!

Bag is definitely bigger then what I expected. Lots of various compartments. Really nice to have the usb access on the side of the bag and love the compartment on the bottom inside of the bag (perfect place for cash, passports, etc). Bag is well built, excellent quality. Should last a long time and many trips!

Ill first say that this backpack does seem durable however Im not holding on to it long enough to find out if it proves to be. It does seem to be made of good thick materials and zippers and it has tons of pockets and compartments. But all the compartments are designed on the lower part of the bag so that you cant adjust / distribute the weight to higher and more accessible spots. There are two zippers on the front outside pockets that are nice, but the rest of the bag is three massive compartments (or black holes, rather) of nothingness. There is a laptop compartment. If you try and maximize its space, all your items will fall to the bottom of the bag and load in poorly for actually putting it on your back. I could never find anything in it either. I think the USB charger (I never used) should transform into a flashlight and a snorkel because thats what you will need to go deep into the bag to find anything. I will say I am 57 and the bag was FAR too long / tall on my back, which, with the poor weight distribution, was a recipe for a bad back. It feels like its designed for a 63 man with a long torso. Im returning.
