Maybelline New York Super Stay Better Skin Powder, Warm Nude, 0.32 oz.

i am IN LOVE with this powder! its marketed for oily skin, but i have the most sensitive, dry skin and i find it looks great. every single one of my friends, from most oily to most dry, loves this. it is not overly mattifying, instead it smooths and adds coverage. the price is also hard to beat. i follow up with a hydrating mist to help it set even better. buying this in 3 different shades to fit my ever-changing skin tone haha

I love it, feels soft and covers well without caking up on my skin. Love the bigger mirror as well. Wish it still sold in stores though.

Im 36 and my skin is pale with a pink undertone (its naturally thin due to a collagen deficiency). I ordered this powder in Porcelain and its perfect. When it comes to make-up and my skin in general, I am a less is more kinda girl. I dont even wear base. The only make-up I want people to see is whatever I use for my eyes. I needed to replace my concealer stick and was excited to find this Better Skin line. I pull the blankets up and kinda bury my face in them when Im sleeping which causes blemishes on my chin. I bought the Better Skin Concealer in Ivory (available here on Amazon for $8 or $9) and this Better Skin Powder in Porcelain. Using them together (along with a small amt of green color corrector to balance my tone in my photo) makes my skin look soft and natural. Ive used them together 4 or 5 times now over the course of about 6 weeks to test out the validity of the better skin claim. It seems to make a difference for me. My skin clears up when I use these 2 products as opposed to my regular concealer. If I dont use it for a couple days, the little surface blemishes come back. If I use it again, they clear up. Granted, I dont have acne or bad skin in general. Never have. Its not like my Better Skin team has a lot of work to do. But I also dont take care of my skin like I should... or at all really. I did notice that if I dont wash the Better Skin products off before bed (and admittedly all the next day bc Im lazy), it dries out my skin. My regular concealer doesnt do that. Overall, for me, these items get 2 thumbs up. They match my skin tone, feel and look natural, last all day, and seem to help with the chin blemishes that I get from snuggling down into my blanket. Maybe its coincidence. Maybe its Maybelline. (see what I did there?)

I really like this product. I dont agree with the statement that it improves my skin with the salicylic acid, but I would say that the coverage is really good. I have a lot of acne scarring and I do not need to apply a lot of cover-up with this foundation. It honestly has helped my self esteem quite a bit with its ability to cover imperfections quickly and effectively. Really glad I found this product. I would definitely recommend this.

This is my favorite foundation yet. Im not the most knowledgeable when it comes to makeup and I dont like to spend a lot of money on it but I would recommend this product to anyone! It stays on all day, better than any other liquid or powder Ive tried. It hides any shine and nicely covers the lighter blemishes ot least preps well for any needed concealer.

This sets my foundation/concealer beautifully! It makes my face go from obviously has makeup to more of a smooth and natural look! I can use the applicator sponge that comes with it, but I prefer to just use a very big, fluffy brush.

I am madly in love with this powder! Im pushing 40 and have very sensitive skin that is riddled with rosacea and broken capillaries. I hate the feel of foundation, but most powders just make me look, well, powdery, if they do anything at all. This stuff is incredible! No, it isnt as heavy as foundation, but I have actually received several compliments on how even and smooth my skin looks when wearing this. It somehow covers imperfections without looking fake and heavy, yet I cannot feel it on and I rarely need to touch up or reapply (pretty much only when I have a big zit or newer acne mark). I wish it had SPF, but Ill gladly keep purchasing it as is. I havent noticed that it helps prevent acne (of course, how can one know whether something unpredictable is being prevented?) but I havent had any more acne than usual, so it definitely doesnt cause it. I make sure to wash the sponge applicator every week, with baby shampoo, to make sure the oils and dirt that are on skin even when freshly washed dont lead to bacteria thriving on the sponge.

So heres the thing, I dont dislike this product however I wouldnt use it as a foundation again. If you build it up to LIGHT coverage it tends to get cakey but if you use it sparingly to kind of just even out your skin tone it can be done. I tend to use it for more of a setting powder over a lightweight liquid foundation and it looks nice. ( I have combination skin BTW) Im obsessed with the packaging its so convenient and perfect for traveling (big mirror too!)
