I used these to hang outdoor plants and baskets. They work great. Just what I was shopping for.

I recently had my deck rebuilt with an added pergola. Previously I had used flower pot baskets that hook to the deck railing for plants and boston ferns, but they were hard on the rails and not ideal for placement. With the pergola, these hangars allow me to hang them from above the railing and provide a much better placement for providing some privacy from the neighbors. I also use them with solar lanterns to intersperse between the ferns and begonias. A great product!

I used three of the hooks to hang bird feeders but also used the other three to hang pool skimmers on a chain link fence. I could probably find uses for another pack.
