My son LOVES THIS PUZZLE. He’s into fish right now and this puzzle is perfect. It’s got nice sturdy pieces that he can grip onto and the colors are nice and vibrant. I especially love that the color is written on the spaces so they know how to SPELL the colors while they learn the colors themselves. The pieces fit well and are made well. It was a great buy!

I gifted this for my friends baby who turned one. This puzzle is a good quality and looks more expensive than it is. I also love how bulky it is for a young child. I will buy again for my baby.

Perfect for kids less than 3 . Chewable and very sturdy. The colors are vibrant and perfect for little hands . Very sturdy wood piece . Highly safe for kids who likes to chew everything. It is not like the other melisa and dough peg puzzle in which the stickers peals off in one day. A little costly for me but it is really worth it.

Product is good but for my 1 1/2 year old is a little bit difficult to place the fishes in the correct form. But he usually matches the colors and I end up putting the fish, so works ok.

Chunky puzzles are the best! Easy to manipulate and the added bonus of being able to stand up the pieces so your little one can see them or just play with the pieces. This one is great because you have wonderful colors, plus each color is spelled out under the puzzle piece on the board. I love these puzzles because they are not too heavy and my toddler is able to pick up the board and move it from play space to play space.

I love it! My child loves learning her colors now bc I would play like we are fishing with a imaginary fishing rod. The only reason why I didnt give it a 5 star is bc it didnt have the other colors a child needs to learn. The colors gray, black, and white.

Great product. I love the quality that Melissa and Doug toys always have. My son is learning colors and he loves fish so this is a win win. He’s only 2 and knows most primary colors and he is doing well with the matching and puzzle aspect of it. It is a great learning tool. I highly recommend for helping teach toddlers their colors.

Purchased this for my 23 month old son who’s currently in speech. After playing with the puzzle he said purple for the first time. I’m so happy with our purchase and it really is a fun puzzle for kids. Highly recommend!

Overall, the puzzle is well made and OK, but quality control should have caught the flaw where the blue fish goes on the base. Part of the blue area is missing. When paying money for anything, one would hope that it’s looked over very carefully before shipping it to the customer. I will keep the puzzle, but I had to color the spot with a blue marker because it didn’t look right, and my grandson kept picking at it because he noticed the flaw too. I agree with another reviewer that the orange and red fish should have been separated a bit more to avoid confusion. They are very close in color.
