Melissa & Doug Construction Vehicles Wooden Chunky Puzzle (6 pcs)

I purchased the puzzles for a birthday present for a one year old. The puzzles said they were for a two year old, but proved up to the task of figuring them out. He loved them. Billie

I have a 15-month old who doesnt like to sit and read books, but he loves to pick things up and have you tell him what they are. The chunky puzzles are great for that. His current favorite is the dump truck. He picks it up and holds it out and I say dump truck and he repeats truck. So at least were getting somewhere! He can put them in the right spot thanks to the pictures of the object underneath the puzzle piece. He still has a hard time manipulating the pieces to get it to fit exactly.

Enjoy listening to my grandson name all the different types of trucks as he plays with the pieces. Made wall and color is bright. Also having the small button allows for easy play.

My 22 month olds love this puzzle. Very durable and well constructed.

My grandsons eye light up and he had a big smile when this arrived He loves trucks. Unfortunately it seems in manufacturing or shipping that a couple of pieces got sticky and when we removed from the puzzle board, paint pulled away from the puzzle piece. Otherwise we love this chunky puzzle.

My great grandson has loved his large piece wooden puzzle. He had a book his father bought him with the same selection of trucks. Learning the different kinds of trucks & their names was a real challenge.

Such a cute puzzle, perfect for my 2 year old son who is obsessed with heavy equipment. I like that it isnt just a puzzle -- he also takes the trucks and drives them around. I am a super-fan of all these wooden chunky puzzles. My daughter loves them! They are fun to play as a puzzle and then also fun to play pretend cars! I try to stay away from the wooden puzzles with pegs though, they seem like a middle of the night foot injury waiting to happen! These dont have pegs sticking out of them, so they are perfect!
