I bought these for a 2 yr old birthday. They were sorted, stacked, separated, filled and hauled around in January on a living room floor with no sand! I can only imagine the possibilities once they take them outside! Great design and sturdy compared to most beach/sand toys on the market.

My son loves these! Definitely worth the money spent and I can see these lasting a long time.

I bought these sand buckets for a recent beach vacation. They didnt take up too much room in the suitcase. Sturdy plastic, nest nicely, stack on top of each other. Our daughter (1 1/2 yo) played with them for a long time in the sand, pool and bath. The numbers and animals are nice added features. Now that we are home, she plays with them around the house for sorting and toting toys. I also plan to take them outside to play in the snow.

Two year old granddaughter loved these at the beach. I keep some in the play area filled with little toys and in the tub.

The best. Wish I had gotten them a long time ago. Its nice that you can take many bucket to the beach/park and they dont take much room. Thick and solid.

Best beach buckets ever. My 3yr old and 1yr old LOVE them. Way better quality than any other plastic sand bucket Ive ever seen and they stack for carrying to beach. Genius!!!!

Super sturdy. I put them in my backpack along with the Sunnyside starfish shovels by mellisa and Doug.roll them on sand for a smooth pattern like turtles .a pattern is on all peices on each side as well as on the bottom to make sand castles. Great buy!

We bought this set for a family vacation we are currently taking on the SC coast. Our entire family came which includes 9 grandkids ages 8 and under. When not in the ocean, these get constant use building sand castles and moving sand. A big hit with the kids.

I have yet to be disappointed in a Melissa and Doug toy. This nesting/stackable pail set is adorable and helps expose children to numbers, introducing the concept of small to large as the smallest is 1 and it goes up from there. Lots of fun, sturdy and educational. A steal!

There are several reasons I like these buckets. The plastic is is thick and durable. When you squeeze them there is a little give, about 1/2, so there are not super rigid, nor flimsy. Each one is a pleasant color and there is a numerical number printed large on one side in a contrasting color. Opposite that number is the number spelled out and it is engraved in the plastic. I like this because the color is less likely to scrape off. On the bottom of each one is a mold. The #3 bucket has three turtles on the side, the number 3 spelled out and in numerical form and the bottom mold has 3 turtles to match. Each numbered bucket is like this, respectively. Even with the molds on the bottom, the buckets sit steady on a flat surface. I havent had a chance to try them out at the beach, but we use them to play with by making up games-ex:put the red car in the yellow bucket, how many are in the red bucket, etc. I am glad that they dont all have a handle because they would not nest all together as well as they do.
