Wont hold wet grounds. Never moved it, just blew out while pouring hot water in. Tried double, same s***.

Keeps the grounds out. I mean seriously, how do you write a review of a coffee filter? I will say that its sturdy and doesnt rip and I found that if you cut one up you can use it to make a bouquet Garni which is helpful because who the heck wants to buy cheese cloth?

We use this filter at our cabin, works well. Tough, holds grinds and compostable.

It is surprisingly difficult to find these larger filters in our local supermarket. I use them for filtering coffee when Im making cold brew (a lot). Easy as anything, 1/3 cup coffee in a Mason jar filled with water (we use Spring water). Invert a few times, into the refrigerator overnight, filter, and voila! So good, I had to start making this half-caf, otherwise I was all jangles and jitters.

We have been ordering the #6 cone filters from Anazon for quite awhile because the #6 are not in any of our local stores. They work great for our pour over Melita coffee carafe.

My coffee maker is a 14 cup coffee maker that uses the cone style coffee filters. It is hard for me to find phone these coffee filters at local retailers. This is the 2nd time I have ordered from from this seller and have been pleased with both. Melittas natural brown cone filters are an environmentally sound option for fans of filtered coffee. The filters themselves are compostable, and while unbleached filters dont brew a better cup of coffee, they are more environmentally friendly than white paper filters because they are manufactured without using bleach. (Paper is naturally brown and only turns white with bleach.)
