Mentholatum Natural Ice Medicated Lip Protectant Sunscreen, 0.16 Ounce (Pack of 12)

I have been using this chapstick for years. I have extremely dry lips and Wisconsin winters only make it worse. I keep one in my purse, in my car, on my night stand, end table, jacket pocket, and usually have one on me at all times in my pants pocket. So I was very happy to find I could buy a box at a time on Amazon. This stuff is the best, it stays on, it does make you lips feel tacky or sticky, and the menthol gives your lips a nice soothing, cooling feeling. It creates a good barrier from wind and cold, and has an SPF 15.

I love this stuff. It feels nice on your lips, helps prevent cracking, and lasts a long time. I have a hard time finding it in stores, so I was thrilled to see that I could buy it in bulk on Amazon for a little over $1 a tube.

I have been using Natural Ice for many years, and nothing else compares.

I panicked when my local grocery store stopped carrying Natural Ice lip balm. I tried every other brand that offered a mint/menthol flavor and even ventured to try a few other flavors with disappointing results. Thus began my “Napoleon Dynamite” period when my lips hurt really bad... Then I realized “Gosh! Idiot!” - I should search the Internet for my beloved minty lip balm! And just like that, I was saved! Natural Ice is a lifesaver! It’s cooling, soothing menthol isn’t overwhelming, giving it a nice light mint flavor (unlike some brands that taste terrible or are so strong that you can’t taste your food). It glides on smoothly and evenly in a thin layer that doesn’t feel greasy, gooey, sticky, or wet (I hate that feeling of waiting for chapstick to dry or when it’s so gloppy that it gets on my teeth and leaves nasty residue on my water bottle spout). I’ve read all the articles warning that chapstick actually dries out your lips and makes them more chapped, but wether that’s the case or not, regardless my lips are painfully dry and chapped without chapstick and Natural Ice makes them feel soft and hydrated and healthy again. It also has SPF protection and is great for use during outdoor activities. Word of warning - don’t leave it in a hot car (it liquifies) or forget to take it out of pockets when doing laundry (it can occasionally survive the washing machine intact, but the heat in the dryer liquifies it - on the up side, it didn’t leave any lasting stains on the clothing and another run through the washer cleaned it right up). I highly recommend Natural Ice and it’s manufacturer, The Mentholatum Company. Great brand with great products!

This is my favorite lip balm and has been for many years. It used to be called Mentholatum Lip Balm. Over the years it has changed names and packaging and sometimes takes me a while to find, but it is still the same, great product now called Natural Ice. Whatever they want to call it, it is soothing, moisturizing and cooling and doesnt leave my mouth greasy. Ive always loved it and am happy to see it is available at Amazon as it has become increasingly difficult to find locally.

I love this stuff! Ive been buying various lip balms in bulk because I am never satisfied and also I need to have a stick in every room and ever purse and every desk drawer or Ill never find one when I need it. This is the winner. This kind ticks all of my boxes: its moisturizing, its minty, it gives me that strong menthol cooling sensation that I looooove in hot summer use and in stuffy winter use, it has SPF, it doesnt have a nasty taste if you lick your lips, and its relatively cheap :) Ill definitely be buying more so I can have two in every pocket/purse/drawer.

I love this lip balm but it is hard to find in the stores so I bought a whole box! Should last for some time. For me, this heals chapped lips better than other brands.

I miss the original Natural Ice, which came in a squeeze tube (like Carmex) in the 1990s. This is as good an alternative as there it though. We live in Minnesota and use sunscreen/balm all year. Have been buying this in bulk packs on Amazon for 15+ years now as its 1/2 the price of singles locally. They are in all vehicles, all purses, all bags, office desks, travel kits, etc. etc. etc. Works like a charm and the SPF is legit. I prefer the sport variant with higher SPF, partner prefers the original, but both work well.
