> 3 dayAs you can see, the functionality is amazing. My only issue is I thought it would be a bit more water resistant. A few bouts of sideways rain kind of made my GFCI trip. I bought it for that as much as the integration which is why it gets four stars. Other then that, setting up the plug was an absolute breeze and having it be integrated with the rest of my smart home was just as easy. Really helped with keeping the electric bill down during the holidays.

Greater than one weekUpdate - October 27, 2022. Unfortunately, my excitement with this plug was short-lived. It has an exceptionally poor ability to stay connected to Wi-Fi, even when plugged in next to a router for testing. It would stay connected maybe 24 hours, and then disconnect, failing to reconnect. There has been one firmware update to address Wi-Fi stability since I received this, but it has failed to resolve the problem. So the potential is there, but until this issue is resolved I cannot recommend it. Original review below: So I picked up some LED string lights on Amazon, but, as with most string lights, you plug them in to turn them on, and unplug them to turn them off. I am a lazy human, and do not wish to do this. First, it means I have to leave my rooftop deck in the dark, and secondly it means Id fall down the stairs. Neither of these scenarios are appealing. So enter the Meross Smart Dimmer Plug, - with HomeKit support! Perfect. Plug string lights into Meross plug, and then plug the Meross into the outlet. Then it was just a case of using the Meross app/HomeKit to add the plug, and done! This supports dimming, which I was glad to see my string lights do, too. Excellent product, easy to set up, and well-priced, too. 5 out of 5. Love it.

> 3 dayI put this in my hoop house, and use it to run a space heater set on a temperature-triggered schedule. The Meross to SmartThings integration took a few minutes to side up, but ever since then it’s worked flawlessly.

Greater than one weekThis was easy to set up with my network. App is similar to others and connected with my Google Home easily so I can control through Google. My only complaint is minor...the power cord could be a little longer. I like that this can use sunrise and sunset as a trigger. Using it to make my landscape transformer smart.

Greater than one weekI purchases 2 of these plugs to time my outdoor lights for the holidays. They worked great, allowing me to set on and off groups that worked with both units. I could have worked with each plug in the unit separately which I think is quite unique. Havent tried the Alexa integration but I see no reason it wouldnt work well there too.

> 3 dayFor those of you having difficulty getting this smart plug to work on your router or need a Mac Address to connect it to your router, check to see if Mac Filtering is enabled on your router. It may have a similar name other than Mac Filtering, but you will need to disable it. Once disable, go through the instructions on the Merross app on your smart phone or iPhone to install the smart plug. Once it is installed (shouldnt take long), you can go to the plug in the app and get the plug info from the app... the Mac Address will be there. Then you can add the Mac Address to your router filter, enable Mac Filtering on the router and then it will take a few minutes, but you should be good to go. Its a hassle, but it works. For those using Alexa, I havent figured that part out yet, but it still needs to be installed first using the instructions above before you can add it to your Alexa.

> 3 dayIm switching many of my remote devices to Meross. A landscaper put in an off-brand timer for my yard lights - hard to setup and failed after a year. My Meross one bought the same time is great! Bought another to replace the off brand one and have everything in one app. Way better!

> 3 dayI was able to configure this quickly and setup a test in my front lawn and back lawn outlets. Both tests show that I can control these easily with the app on my phone. Each outlet can be separately turned off and on using the app or Alexa voice commands.

> 3 daySetup was a breeze and it just works - both as a timer and as an Alexa powered device. I set it up on a spare bedroom lamp and named it Lamp, which seemed logical at the time, but now when I see how easy it was too set up and how well it works, I may purchase a couple of more for other lights around the house. So, consider what you name it when you set it up.
