Purchased this when we noticed our 4th grader’s vocabulary words were not in the elementary school dictionary. This dictionary will be out to good use for at least 5 years through grade 8 and possibly breyond

Great comprehensive dictionary for grades 4-8.

I had purchased a childrens dictionary for my oldest son a few years ago but this year- 6th grade- we noticed that a lot of his vocabulary words werent listed in the childrens book. I bought this and am very pleased! So far every vocab word has been listed and he is able to easily use the dictionary. I believe it will be very useful in the next several grades.

I got this for my 9 year old and gave it in the side of the bed for him to look up words while he’s reading. It’s great, age appropriate definitions, he learned Roman numerals from this on his own.

Great dictionary for older elementary or young middle school grades.

Used it for homeschooling.

perfect purchase experience. my stepson had just came to live us for good in the summer. and welp I was working on him getting ready for the new school year in a new state with grade appropriate work books. well.... I can only answer so many questions and he was at the age of needing to figure it out on his own. so when hed ask a question Id tell him.... go get your book and find it, and he did. the book is perfect. now if only there was a book on how to handle pre-teens for me.

Was looking for a long lasting gift for a grandson. Something he could use for years to come. Perfect for a home schooled kid. Getting a thesaurus for the other grandsons birthday.
