I use this mainly for airing up tires and running my smaller Brad nail guns and staple guns. Its well worth the money for this. This thing is also stupid quiet.

I returned this unit because it began tripping it’s thermal breaker. I could hold my hand against ant portion of it and it wasn’t hot, not even real warm.

Perfect for small jobs. Super quiet and seemingly well built.

Compressor motor failed after about 1 year. Its out of warranty, so no support from Metabo. What a joke. I do not recommend this compressor.

I owned a similar sized compressor in the past see photo. Some low life in south central Michigan decided they needed it more than I did, and broke into my garage and stole it along with a bunch of other stuff. If you know of somebody who acquired one of these used about a year ago, please send me their address, so I can personally deliver the owners manual to them. ;) Now, back on subject. The Metabo is an excellent replacement for my missing compressor. Although it only pumps half as much air, it is incredibly quiet. It is perfect for running trim nailers and staplers indoors, and blowing up tires and such. It is fairly lightweight and balances well in the hand when carrying it. I cannot over emphasize how quiet this thing is. It sounds about as loud as a small electric fan set on low speed. I like this compressor a lot.

If you only need a small capacity compressor to run a little finish gun or similar, this thing rocks. So freaking quiet, with little suction cup feet that keep it from sliding all around on the floor when it cycles, drain cock isnt a horrible threaded little brass fitting that you can never tighten enough by hand, but instead a 90 degree valve on or off. Just miles and miles better in every way than the horrible little oil compressor I picked up at home depot to do the same job and was almost glad to see bite the dust...

Great little compressor! It’s amazingly quiet. Doesn’t have much air capacity, but I can fill my garden cart tires easily (car tires take a little patience), and running a 18 ga Brad nailer is no problem (though makes the quiet a bit superfluous). This thing is so quiet I can stand next to it while running and have a conversation in normal tones/volume. It’s about as loud as a louder fridge. Doesn’t put out enough air to run most tools like air ratchets or impact wrenches, or a sander, but I love it for the brad nailer. Should be just enough to run a small airbrush as well.
