I purchased two pairs of these, one for each door in my 2012 Mazda 3 I Touring Non-Bose Edition. For the back door/s I installed Kicker 46CSC684 and once I connected the adapter there was no splicing needed.

Loved them worked great easy as plug and play

i purchased it for my mazda cx-5 rear speaker upgrade. works perfectly.

Does not fit my 2010 mazda 5 as specified.
