> 24 hourA few years ago, I read an article about kids who cant go trick-or-treating because of food allergies, so they feel very sad and left out. Kids with this particular issue deal with a lot of disappointments in life, because there are so many things their friends can do that they have to be excluded from. There is an organization called the Teal Pumpkin Project that raises awareness about kids who arent able to join their friends on Halloween night, because if they eat certain things, like peanuts, or anything a peanut might have touched in the factory (or the trick-or-treat bag), they could become seriously ill or even die. Generally these kids just stay home and feel sad, or their parents try to come up with something fun, but safe, to do instead. Its hard on the kids and their parents. If you put a Halloween decoration of a teal-colored pumpkin in your yard or on your porch, thats a signal to parents that these kids can come to your house and not risk harm. You just give out toys and trinkets, instead of food items. I loved the idea, and a few years ago, I started giving out items like slap bracelets, super balls that look like eyeballs, stickers, rings and necklaces with flashing lights, plastic glow-in-the dark bugs, etc. The items in this particular order really fit the bill, and it was the flashing lights that really sold me. The problem is, approximately 1/4 of the 83 pieces in this bag of goodies didnt light up properly, if at all. It wasnt a huge expense, but it was a bit disappointing to have to throw away so many of the toys because they didnt work. Or they would light up for a minute and then go dead, or they would be darn near impossible to shut off. And at least half of them werent even really toys. It was more like handing out the lighted mechanism without any toy attached to it. Im not saying dont order this product, but I am saying, expect to throw some of them away. It is definitely not my goal on Halloween to accidentally hand out toys that dont work, therefore disappointing the very kids I was hoping I could help to NOT have a disappointing Halloween, so of course I checked every toy to see if it worked before giving them out. This wasnt a total bust, but it could have been a lot better if all, or even most, of the items actually worked.

> 24 hourI love how sturdy the items are! Perfect gifts for a glow party, kids birthday party, etc. Seemed like a good value for the price that you pay. Most of the items in my box worked. We only had a few that didn’t light up.

> 24 hourWe purchased these as party favors for my sons 9th birthday laser tag party! We open the box and passed it around and told all of the kids to choose 5 items each. The boys got lucky and most of their items worked. The girls, were not so lucky. Right out of the box 3 out of 4 pairs of sunglasses were broken. 2 pair had the arms broke off and 1 pair was cracked in half at the nose. 3 out of 4 of the hair clips were broken and we could not get them to stay in the girls hair so they were completely worthless. 2 of the necklaces would not light up at all and 1 would not turn off until the battery wore out. 2 of the rings would not light up at all and 3 of the rings had the plastic rip and the top of the ring completely separate from the band when putting them on. Lastly, the elastic bands on the finger lights are not secured to the lights. So, the pieces went flying everywhere when the kids tried to put them on. Needless to say, we wound up making a game out of finding all the pieces in the dimly lit room. If you plan on purchasing these please be advised......THIS PACKAGE STINKS!!! ALL ITEMS SMELL STRONGLY OF PLASTIC AND NEED TO BE OPENED AND AIRED OUT SEVERAL DAYS IN ADVANCE!! THE SMELL IS TRULY OVERWHELMING!! ALSO, TO AVOID DISAPPOINTMENT, TEST ALL ITEMS BEFORE GIVING THEM AWAY. SEVERAL OF THE ITEMS IN OUR BOX WERE BROKEN AND/OR DID NOT WORK SO THERE WAS NOT ENOUGH FOR ALL OF OUR GUESTS! The price for this box full of items seemed to be a good deal at first. But, when you factor in that half of them dont work and that children will probably leave the party disappointed, then the value drops immensely.

> 24 hourOverall loved the items. Everything was great and worked except the small finger lights. 1/2 didnt work but my kids didnt care about those. They loved the rings, necklaces, hair lights, and glasses. We used these and glow sticks for a glow in the dark Halloween hunt at home. The blinking lights were a hit.

> 24 hourFor the price, I expected some of these to not work well or not work at all. I did not anticipate nearly half of the finger lights not working.

> 24 hourThe kit was great. The kids enjoyed all of the items. I would recommend throwing everything away immediately after the party as I started seeing tiny batteries popping out al over the house. This is very important with small children and pets in the home.

> 24 hourThese were a BLAST!!! About half of the finger Lazer things had the tabs pushed too far in to pull out and light up. But the other stuff that came with this made it worth the money!
