Original review - Would not boot as far as I could tell. No video out on VGA or HDMI. No splash screen, no POST message, no BIOS setup, nothing. It beeps if you try to start it with no RAM, but thats it. The power button also appears to do nothing. Short press, long press, double press, no effect. Its just always lit whenever the unit has power.

Used this to make a router. Works great - does Quality of Service at better then GB speeds.

First unit had no video output, but customer service was quick and sent me another unit practically next day. Was worried it was going to take time coming from China, but I got the replacement within the week. New unit works beautifully. Thank you!

Its a great little unit and does a perfect job exactly as advertised. I can go on about the product but its obviously an established product and being recommended by multiple websites and people that are much more knowledgeable than I am. What I do want to mention however is the support they provide and the genuine care for what they sell. If you write to them, they will reply back with actual helpful information. Never heard of them prior to researching into these open code router firewalls but I can see why this seemingly obscure company gets a mention amonst the fussy and nische crowd. Came loaded with pfSense, but I did a fresh install to set my base level of trust. It’s quiet and has plenty of performance to support VPNs back to my Netgate 6100.

Loaded up with newest version of pfsense, and it worker perfectly. 2.5gb network ports working for the devices that have that port, no problems. Seller even sent a support email, that I didnt request, with tips and suggestions to get things working. Which I took as a good sign. Would buy from again.

I have been running a QOTOM-Q355G4 24/7x365 as my OPNsense router since 2017 and it has never gone down. Thats going to be a hard act to follow, but its getting old so I used 2.5Gbe as an excuse to upgrade to this box.

Runs pfsense w/o a hiccup. If I could wish for improvements itd be a more recent / powerful cpu and wi-fi. As is, it has no problem pushing 1.2gb on my 1gb internet.

Had this box running during setup for about a week or two, and today once Ive finished configuration, it just went off and never came back to life no matter what Id do - reset, power on/off, plug out/in... less than 24 hours of actual work, and I was only using two out of four ports at the moment... Not sure what may have caused this, there was no power outage, no overload, no overheating. It just crapped out. Not interested in replacement, so this goes directly to trash and one star in a review.
