Miele Active AirClean Filter with TimeStrip Filter for Miele Vacuum Cleaners

I have used these filters before. We have 3 cats and vacuum frequently. Even so, we only need to change these every 6 months.

Sometimes you dont realize when a filter needs to be replaced until you replace and notice the difference. Such was the case for me with my Miele Active Air filter for my Miele Cat and Dog vacuum. I had started to notice that there a little odor when I vacuumed, like dog dander... that I hadnt been noticing for a long time. Then I realized that I was overdue to change the Active Air filter - which uses charcoal as its active ingredient. I installed the new filter - which takes all of about 10 seconds (20 if you add in the time to toss the old one in the trash) - and when I turned on the vacuum I was instantly pleased by the smell of fresh clean air coming from the vacuum. Its that simple, and makes that much difference. Remember to change your filter yearly, and use the genuine Miele AAC-30 part! You invested in one of the best vacuums made.. keep it performing at its best.

Have been using this product for years and I like the way it eliminates dust and allergies.

Ill give it 3 out of 5 stars mainly because I was expecting it to really clean the air emitted from the vacuum. One reviewer said it made a positive difference almost immediately. I didnt experience that at all. The filter is definitely cleaner but didnt seem to make a difference in the smell coming from the vacuum.

Ive got this filter in hopes the vacuum would stop smelling bad when I turn it on. Fresh brand name filter, fresh, brand name bag - and yet the air coming out of vacuum still smells like dog when you turn it on. What a waste of money

We have three dogs and although I love them to death, prefer not to smell them, lol. This charcoal filter really does eliminate the odor. Folks are frequently surprised to learn I have indoor dogs as it works so well!
