Great product. Very handy if you need a quick reference or need to check metal thickness. My only complaint is that the etching is difficult to read.

Works great for pre-welds

As some others have suggested, its a bit hard to read the numbers on the gauge, but you can run a Sharpie, or some other kind of paint, over the numbers to make them more legible. But, it is a quick way to measure thicknesses and keep attached to a keychain or the welder so its handy.
