Bought 2 and neither worked! They turn on with batteries but dont turn off with remote or manual button. 1st set: Remote changed sequencing of lights (wave, flashing etc.) but got stuck on flashing and then nothing else on remote worked anymore (color buttons, etc.). Packaging all seemed brand new. 2nd set: Came on really dim when new batteries went in and nothing worked. This one was obviously repackaged and resold. UPDATE: I had both boxes replaced with what appears to be brand new boxes and I had the same issue as the 1st set above - they turn on with batteries but once I start testing the color and sequence buttons on the remote, nothing works...cant turn them off, cant change color, cant change light pattern. SO FRUSTRATING THAT THEY CONTINUE TO SELL THESE WHEN THEY DONT WORK!!!

These things are awesome. Brighter than the solar string lights I had outside. Had them out all month long for Halloween and never had to change batteries. Being about to change the colors is so fun. Timer function is great too. I think I ended up getting 8 strings and I’ve used them for all kinds of decorations. And you could even just leave them up for different holidays and change the colors. They also got rained on and didn’t break so that was great, would recommend.

Stopped working after a couple of weeks

These are very bright and pretty. I have one concern. Tonight the lights turned on by themselves twice. Have no idea why. Just concerned they will turn on when not home and wires could get hot or start a fire. Has this happened to anyone else?

got these lights for my tree that I am doing for trunk or treat at church in October. they will look great in the tree I put them on I am doing the Garden of Eden

Great lighting, and different lighting patterns. Very durable for outside condition as I have it wrapped around the outside of my Jeep cargo rack for about a year now, and still work great. Like how I can use my phone Bluetooth to control the color and pattern as I use it for Christmas and when I travel/road trips.

The remote battery compartment is difficult to work, and it doesnt work anyway! Same thing happened last year

Had to replace the batteries often. Only had them on a couple of hours (2) a night and by the 4th night we had to change out batteries. Thw lights itself are beautiful and bright but you may want to invest in ALOT of batteries goos product
