Mini Ink Blending Set of 2 Tools and 4 Foams - 2 Pack

I was thinking to buy the rectangle blending tool when these came out, lucky me, the round shape is able to blend without any marks. I use it with the mini distress ink pads, its perfect for the size. You could storage the little circle pad behind each mini and save a lot of space, just be very careful when ripping it from the velcro.

I used these to apply clear gesso for Bible journaling. I love that they are removable and washable. I thought it was a great bargain to buy the 2 pack since it also comes with refill pads. I will definitely order more (in fact, I recommended these to my mom who also bought them from Amazon).

I like the shape of this blending tool for applying inks. I would recommend having several so that you can have one for inks, chalks, gesso, etc.

I was looking forward to trying these blending tools, as many paper crafter use them. But they are terrible. Everything turns out blotchy. Even when blending Distress Oxide inks. They are uncomfortable to hold and not worth the disappointing result. Instead buy yourself those makeup blending brushes everyone is now using for blending inks. Just about every ink company carries them as ink blending brushes. With those you will get good results even if you are a novice.

Didnt think I needed these but now that Ive been using the round version I cant go back to the original squares

I couldnt wait to get my hand on this new blending tool, and I havent been disappointed. I still like the standard rectangular tool for edging a project, but this smaller round version is perfect for stencils and smaller areas. I ended up buying 3 sets so I dont have to change the pads much.

These little pads and their handle are such a great find! I have been plagued in the past with unwanted line marks on documents that I edge antique. This is due to the fine line that can be left when an ink pad is even lightly pressed against a page. These little round gems make that issue a non-concern for me. The handle is easy to hold and the pads hold just the right amount of ink for a dappling action. This package gives you two handles and a starter set of pads, so I recommend buying the companion refill set of pads, as well. While I have had success in cleaning off the pads, using an ink pad cleaner solution, I prefer to have a bunch of these tiny pads on hand so I can manipulate multiple shades all at once without having to stop and tidy up after each color.. I am delighted with the results that I have been getting with these!
