We really like the size of this projector. The sound and picture quality are also awesome

The projector is very compact and came with the expected power cable, HDMI cable, remote (batteries not included), and an A/V cable. I set it up about 8 feet from a white wall, in the middle of the recommended range. Focus is manual using a dial that is inset on the right side of the unit. I have used the HDMI and Wi-Fi options with a MacBook Pro laptop. First, I projected the MacBook using the HDMI cable. The projector shows up as “S2-TEK TV” in the Displays portion of the System Settings. The picture quality is good, although the image isn’t particularly bright. I didn’t have any problems here and this is my main usage. The projector only has 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and your computer has also has to be on the 2.4 GHz side if you have a dual frequency Wi-Fi modem. If, like me, you use MAC filtering on your Wi-Fi, the MAC number of the projector is given in the “Wi-Fi” menu, and there is a mechanism to enter your Wi-Fi password. Projection uses the “Screen Cast” option on the projector. It shows up as “MarsByte-D71B48” when you look for displays to add, and shows up as “Apple TV” when adjusting settings. The big problem is that there is very large lag over Wi-Fi, almost a half-second. Over Wi-Fi, audio was automatically sent to the projector. The sound quality is adequate for speech, but poor for music. You can adjust the bass and treble or use presets, but the speaker just isn’t very good. The cooling fan runs all the time, but isn’t very loud. I like the 1/4” tripod socket on the bottom because that’s a very convenient way for me to set it up. The projector doesn’t project an exceptionally bright image, but fine for a home office, living room, or bedroom setup. This is a good choice for a budget projector for home use.

I i primarily use this for my art and project images onto my surface so the audio speaker isn’t that important to me but i do feel like i should say it’s not the great. My car literally has better speakers. When you’re listening to music and plug your ohone in with an hdmi cord and adapter the music immediately transfers to the speaker

Like other high tech electronics, you get what you pay for. In this price range, this projector actually is pretty decent. It wont give you the greatest picture or compete for brightness and contrast, but if you wanted to get a secondary projector for another room, for travel, or for the kids, this is pretty good. This projector lacks some of the fine detail adjustments you might find in higher end models. As a result, you are generally stuck with the projection it produces right in front of its placement in the room. However, where this projector shines is the portability (great for multiplayer gaming nights with friends), ease of use, and relatively affordable price. Note: highly recommended to connect devices directly to this projector for best picture quality and playback. Overall, this is a solid projector for this price range. It is somewhat limited on adjustments and high tech functions found on more expensive projectors. However, its portability makes it great for gaming, traveling, and bringing it to a friends house for movie nights.

The main thing is that the image quality is solid which is what I needed the most. It can maintain a decent sharpness even at the larger sizes. The brightness and colors are good, and overall its very usable. There are limited connections but thats due to its portability. The sound is also decent. Not the best, not the worst. The main downside would be that the fans can be pretty loud even though they say its quieter than the competition. Projector lights are bright and can run hot so its understandable that the fans have to be up, and given the form factor its certainly not a simple task. But its a good value for the price and I like it a lot.

The product got four stars because I had a problem connecting to my phone, however the company was right there with me every step of the way. When we couldnt resolve the problem, they were fast to refund my money. No hassles, no nonsense. They are great.

This projector works well for movie night and entertaining. The pictured is a little transparent and colors lose their luster when using the HDMI setting. The larger the picture, the less brilliant the colors looked. I used this projector with and without the screen on a white wall) and the picture quality was the same. The projector has a screen mirroring function to pair with your phone but most apps would not play while screen mirroring. Setup was easy and there was no issue focusing the image or stabilizing the projector. The darker the room, the better the image.
