Disappointed - I bought this PC for the Windows 10 installed. Reason being my printer will not work on Windows 11. Well, guess what - I got Windows 11 and now cannot use my printer.

I bought an HX99G on pre-order when it first was announced. I had a few hiccups from the video card the first week (it paused and reset without a crash). I updated the AMD software, and it has been rock solid for a couple months.

The um690 has a bad reputation of over heating and crashing from bad memory. Support has started giving me the run around even though this is a wide spread problem in their discord support. I just replaced the ram and its been stable for 24 hours, which is the longest its ever ran without crashing. I personally wouldnt recommend buying anything from minisforum unless you dont care about getting any support.

(16GB/256GB, R5 5625U) Compact, quiet, completely better than a 5-6 year old full size desktop. You can get creative with where you put it and how you power it. May need a cheap USB hub to get more ports for office use, otherwise it can turn any TV into a nice home PC (Check your TVs manual for how to get best picture when plugged into a computer). There is one spare slot to increase your storage without replacing the included SSD, and the integrated graphics are okay for playing some less demanding games. Dont expect to play the newest and fanciest games on this little box.

Its pretty phenomenal what your getting here in such a small form factor and for the price. An 8 core processor with 16 threads that can reach 4.2 GHz and only use 15 watts? As to how AMD accomplished that is beyond me. 16 Gigs of ddr4 memory and a 500gb m2 drive. Plus they threw in Windows 11 pro ($130 value) if you were to piece something like this together, good luck trying to beat this price!

I sold my desktop 2 years ago and was using my Asus Zephyrus G14 connected to a 23” monitor, since. My desk space is limited and the laptop was kinda messing with the feng shui and ergonomics of my set up.

This is a good value product. I bought the 256 with 8GB RAM I choose this option because I know that its very good for upgradability for the future. I dont need all that top tier version for now, lucky now the mini pc has one stick of 8g which makes it super upgradable its performing very well. I love the fact that this mini pc comes with a sate connector and a space to install a 2.5mm drive , There are some key points when buying this product though. First is that it is equipped with Ryzen 3750H. Though its a Ryzen 7, its actually just a quad core with 8 threads but still better than 7th gen intel products. Second is that though it comes with 8GB of RAM, only 6 is usable because the integrated graphics takes up 2GB. Third, it has a smaller number of ports compared to the competition. It comes with 2 ethernet ports but if youre like me who only uses WiFi then those 2 takes up much of the space in the back of the unit. It would be better if its equipped with another type-C port behind and a couple more type-As. I suggest this product for any people who wants mini size with a big punch of power. because I no other intel competitor can beat the speed of this. this e a lot faster than intel . Speaking of shipping, it came in with good cushioning but some corners are unprotected because the cushioning did not cover it all very well. The box has more insulation inside so the product would probably still be safe. Nothing else makes me mad about this. this product was designed very well.

This mini PC packs a strong punch for such a small device. It’s amazing that it was not that long ago that a computer with this kinds of specs would only come in a large heavy tower. This little guy is barely the size of a mousepad. It comes with Windows 10 already installed, and once I put in my existing Microsoft account information, my computer was almost set up. I have two monitors connected, and there were enough inputs to allow me to do that. I did plug in a USB extender so that I could add a wireless mouse and keyboard and things like that. These are inexpensive, likely unnecessary, but only $15-$20 extra if you need one, and if you do they work really well with this machine.
