I have 4 of these to remotely turn on roof and gutter deicers at my mountain cabin. Weather service says it snowing I turn them on from 200 miles away. Have worked great for the last year. It would be great if there was one with 2 outlets that could carry 20 Amp but happy with these .

It has done everything I wanted it to do. I use it for our outdoor fountain. I can effortlessly turn the fountain off and on when I want to.

This switch is awesome! Just a few, random connectivity issues so far, but... that doesnt really impact me for my purposes. BUT...I want to append to the review by J. Salmi in using Smart Life or Minoston app. After installing either app, I still could not get the bluetooth working for automatic adding. On my Galaxy S20 Android phone, I went into the settings for each app and found that Nearby Devices was not being allowed. NO IDEA why neither app didnt default this or ask me to do so. Once I manually allowed the permission of Nearby Devices, each app immediately identified and installed this Plug entry. (note that you can only use 1 of these apps as the other will have the entry removed). Thanks J. Salmi for your help in spite of all that frustration! :)

I bought a two pack of these and although they are pretty rugged on the outside, I was a bit concerned with the level of waterproofing at first glance, especially considering I live in lovely WA state where theres more rain than sun lol... My solution, a TEARDOWN, of course! :) so upon further investigation once opened up, it was clear to me that at least for my purposes, the waterproofing would be inadequate - not a problem though! I grabbed a tube of clear RTV silicone and got to work lathering up all the seams, screws and the buttons and even the pcb itself, along w anywhere else that looked like water could make its way in (I did all of this from the inside of the item, fyi, that way its much more tightly sealed and still looks stock from the outside) Once finished, I put it back together and tested her out and it works great! Happy to report it is now sufficiently waterproof (even with about 1 foot of full submersion! Though I wouldnt recommend anyone attempting this while connected to power! I certainly did not and would not! Simply a test, thats all!) All-in-all I think this is an awesome product, made even better now of course! And Im sure I voided any warranty immediately by doing this but I dont care, the product worked beforehand and works even better now.... Please note, if you attempt to do something like this yourself, you do so at your own risk! Product is easy to connect, works as intended and have had no issues. Bought a second one for my rooftop after using the first one for the backyard.

No problems. Have to download the app to set it up but once it’s connected it’s basically completely controllable through the Alexa app.

Ive never done an Amazon review so fast, but theres a reason: I got this this morning in the mail and opened and connected it within only a few minutes. Theres a nice quick instructions with just a few pages. I was already close to do the normal WiFi set-up, but then noticed the Quick-Fit Bluetooth connect hint. First I thought this was instead of the Wifi connection, but its just the set-up and its much easier than the full WiFi set-up. The connection has been established in seconds and already works outside in my patio. The Dimming is great and it looks it has good connectivity, even though its not too far away from the router, but some other smart plugs had their problems at this location, but not this one. So for me its actually working absolute perfect, it looks sturdy, its small and easy to connect, but theres just one thing: the scheduling (which is actually pretty easy to do) cannot be used to change the dimming level. So you cant have a schedule for the morning with low light and one for the evening with stronger light. The dimming can be changed within the app easily and even with google assistant and Alexa, but definitely not in the schedule so it will turn on in the schedule with the last dimming level it had before - whatever it was. It would be great if they could add this feature in the future and then it would be absolutely perfect.

So this plug does what it says. Allows me to run a pump when needed from anywhere (with internet). The instructions were awful and getting this connected was about as frustrating as anything Ive ever done in my life - and no Im not exaggerating.
