Mission Rover Travel Bag - Carry-on, 3-Way Carry, Wood Waxed, 60 Plus

As with any bag or piece of luggage, I tortured over a the numerous options out there, but landed on this one, largely because of the 45L capacity versus the more typical 30-35Ls out there. That did have me worried that it would be a bit TOO bulky for carrying around and stowing on planes but neither proved to be an issue in the least (and Im not a huge guy). So, the added capacity proved a winner, but the design is also outstanding. The fact that you can treat and use it like a backpack AND have your typical two sided fold open suitcase sort of storage makes this an incredibly flexible piece of kit.

Seems more like olive or faded OD green, to me. Seems sturdy and well thought out compartments. Expect to get years of use out of it.

This product is good and highly durable. However, there are two areas that it has room to improve.

I really appreciate the unique main compartment clam shell design opens up to a traditional suitcase style dual compartment storage area. Plenty of storage. I use this to carry essential gear while traveling in case my checked bag is misplaced.

Sometimes on your back is more appropriate than wheeling behind yourself.

Perfect for carry on travel. Fit into both small and large planes overhead storage.

Great carry on bag! Mystery Ranch bags and backpacks are known for their high quality craftsmanship and clever design features, and this bag is no exception. It was perfect for carrying my laptop, tablet, several days of clothes and an extra pair of shoes on some recent flights, and it fits nicely in every overhead bin I’ve encountered.
