It works well. Easy installation. Anyone can do it, just go on YouTube and look for a step by step video.

Port was barely attached and fell off.

I thought the tablet was a goner, this brought it back to life. Took about 45 minutes to install.

This part seems to be well constructed and is working well. It took me about 45 minutes to replace the charging port and battery on my wifes Samsung Tab 4 10.1 inch Nook version tablet. I recommend you check out a couple of videos on Youtube to learn how to make this repair. Several steps are not obvious. To me, there were two difficult sections of the repair. The first difficulty is initiating the task of removing the back from the tablet. Once I had loosened the first part of the back, the rest of the removal went smoothly. The other difficulty was putting the tiny screws back into their holes. My final recommendation is to replace the USB port if you are replacing the battery. The port is not very costly and does not add much additional work.

My tab failed to charge... after new port installed in 7 minutes, it works like new. Instead of recycling, just fix the old one ;)

The part seems to be a good replacement, it did stretch out a bit longer than original part, which created a slight bump in the cable, yes, its seated right, however, does not mean it will happen with YOUR replacement part.
