I’ve been happy with every one of Mont Marte’s paints that I’ve tried. These are beautiful buttery colors.

Bought these to add a nice metallic touch of shimmer to a beetle bug drawing project for my art class - this paint was very thin and sheer and achieved more of a barely there effect.

Great set and great value for the money

Love the tube size and the fact that the paint is easy to extract from the tube. Ill keep these tubes in the box since its sturdy and each tube has a spot. The paint spreads easily and there are some really pretty colors. There are so many greens and a lot fewer blues than I would have liked. There is no black. Black gray isnt the same so I had to add a black from another kit. Still I like the effect and the sheen. When my son came over and I showed him my painting, he said oooooo, so thats good.

I love Mont Marte paints, so when I saw this set, I was thrilled. The colors are as saturated as metallics get, and you get a great amount in each tube. These arent those tiny tubes...you actually get your moneys worth with these. Ill be reordering when I run low. I love this paint.

I *LOVE* metallic acrylic paints but this is by far the worst Ive ever used. It doesnt go on smooth. You have to paint over and over the same layer to make it decent but then its all uneven and streaky. Does NOT blend well. I kept trying to make it work but its just garbage. I prefer professional quality paint but I wouldnt even suggest this to a beginner. Its horrible quality all around. Wouldnt even insult a child by giving it to them to finger paint with.

I love these, theyre gorgeous with a high degree of shimmering particles. They went on smoothly with a brush and during a pour and dried quickly. They arent as thick as say a tube acrylic, but not liquid-y either. Just for an experiment I did try thinning one with various things I had on hand (water, medium, etc.) and it appeared to work. For the item in the picture, I thinned with pouring medium and it still shined spectacularly. I do like that there are some basic metallic colors (gold, silver) but also some unusual colors like green and purple. No complaints here, theyre gorgeous!

I cannot say enough good things about this paint..thinned with water these are perfect for painting miniatures. Beautiful Rich colors and perfect viscosity. Ordered a small set, then ordered the large set as well as metallics. LOVE them . A little goes a very long way.

These paints give just the right amount of sheen to up your acrylic painting a notch. I consider them a good value for the money.
