Best toy for travel, period! My 8 mo. old loves this toy and it was his favorite on long travel days: airplanes, cars etc. I love the holes at the end of the orange and purple ropes so I can connect it to a ring and then to the car seat handle or something else to prevent him from dropping it constantly. This toy works wonders and he finds it fascinating! Buy it if youre about to travel, its a life saver.

This toy looks completely bizarre but I think that is part of the allure! Babies seem mesmerized by it and the oddity of it definitely quiets them down as they stare at whatever this thing is they have just been presented. The silicone pull strings can (and will!) be gummed and chewed on. The open loops on some of the string ends means it can be suspended from a baby play gym if desired. Toy says it is for 18 months and up but can be used with 5 month olds with direct parent supervision.
